What Is Hemp?
Hemp, or industrial hemp, is defined by the 2014 US Farm Bill as plants of the cannabis sativa species which contain ≤0.3% THC, making their extracts non-psychoactive and legal. Hemp is very sustainable and renewable (13 weeks to maturity)! It can be refined into countless commercial items, including food, paper, textiles, clothing, biodegradable plastics, animal feed, insulation, biofuel, and more.

Whole Spectrum Hemp Extract contains CBD, along with numerous other cannabinoids as well as flavonoids, terpenoids and other compounds found naturally in the hemp plant. These compounds each offer benefits of their own while potentiating and enhancing the effects of the other compounds present to nurture the endocannabinoid system; this is commonly referred to as the entourage effect.
What is the Endocannabinoid System?
The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is a large network of receptors and transmitters found throughout our bodies that have been shown to regulate numerous systems and functions. Cannabinoids are compounds that interact with ECS receptors to promote homeostasis (balance) within these systems. Endocannabinoids occur naturally in the body, while phytocannabinoids, such as CBD and many others found in Whole Spectrum Hemp Extract, occur naturally in the hemp plant. A daily regimen of Kingdom Harvest Sublingual Oil can nourish the ECS and promote balance and well-being.
